Grand finals of NBA Madness presented by coca-cola to feature two-time NBA champion Malik Rose of the New York Knicks, the Sacramento Kings dance team and mascot Rufus Lynx.

- DHL and NBA will Bring the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy to the Final Stop at Glorietta.

MANILA , PHILIPPINES , July 8, 2008 – Two-time NBA Champion Malik Rose of the New York Knicks, the Sacramento Kings Dance Team, and Rufus Lynx, the mascot of the Charlotte Bobcats, will host the Grand Finals of NBA Madness presented by Coca-Cola at Glorietta from July 10 to 13, 2008. Also, as part of the DHL-NBA Trophy Tour, the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy will return to the Philippines to make an appearance at the Grand Finals.

 Here is the list of basketball activities for fans on Center Court:

    * NBA Slam Dunk Competition – Participants take to the air as they try to bring the house down with awesome aerial moves.
    * Coca-Cola Shooting Stars – Teams of three attempt to make all six shots – each from a different spot on the court – in the fastest time.
    * Caltex 2Ball – Participants combine their skills in shooting, rebounding and passing in this fun activity, which emphasizes teamwork.
    * DHL Speed Challenge – Participants can win prizes by demonstrating perfect passing and free-throw shooting in 30 seconds.
    * NBA Three-Point Shootout presented by Basketball TV – Participants show off their long-range shooting.

The NBA Madness Mall Tour will conclude at Glorietta with the Grand Finals and feature more special activities:

    * Special Appearance of NBA Talents – Malik Rose of the New York Knicks, the Sacramento Kings Dance Team and Rufus Lynx of the Charlotte Bobcats celebrate the Grand Finals and interact with NBA fans through oncourt activities and autograph sessions.
    * NBA Cares Special Olympics Clinic – Malik Rose hosts a basketball clinic for underprivileged youth.
    * NBA Madness Corporate Challenge – Sixteen corporate teams compete in the first-ever NBA Madness Corporate Championship.
    * Coca-Cola Dance Team Audition – The best cheerdancers from the Philippines participate in a special dance audition for an opportunity to perform live with the Sacramento Kings Dancers..
    * NBA Madness VIP Party presented by Coca-Cola and Caltex with Techron – Lucky NBA fans get a chance to attend the exclusive VIP event, featuring celebrities, music guests and the NBA personalities at one of Manila's hottest clubs.

The NBA Madness Mall Tour tipped off in the Philippines on June 13 and visited four Ayala shopping malls in Manila: TriNoma (June 13 to 15), Bonifacio High Street (June 20 to 22), Market Market (June 28 to 29) and the Alabang Town Center (July 4 to 6), with the Grand Finals to be staged at the Glorietta this weekend (July 10 to 13).
